The Innovative Store
HARDWOOD CENTER

Our Expertise at Work

THE DIFFERENCE

In Store Format

Because of our expertise in the hardwood business and our capability to do research and development, we have created an innovative store layout and operating format to enhance our customer services.  Our new Flooring Center is the first and only one of its kind in the nation.
In Merchandising
There are more than 70 different kinds of hardwood lumber and related products available at Hardwood Center, while Home Depot and Lowe’s carry mainly two kinds of hardwood, red oak and poplar.
In Displaying Merchandise
In order to help customers make comparisons between brands, colors, wood species, grades, and prices while shopping for flooring, we display all of our flooring samples, in term of hundreds, on our store walls totaling over 500 feet long.
In Providing Knowledge
Although hardwood is a common material used in household projects, there are still some fundamental knowledge necessary to utilize hardwood lumber and its related products properly.  You will automatically learn some of these basic knowledge when you visit our stores.
In Expert Assistance
Our sales associates are trained wood technologists who can help you locate wood products worldwide and assist with problems in your wood-related projects.
In Custom Manufacturing
Not only can we replenish the products we sell quickly because of our in-house manufacturing capability, we can also custom produce moulding and flooring according to customers’ specifications.
In Manufacturer-Direct Prices
Because of our knowledge in manufacturing and our vast contacts with the wood industry worldwide, we are sourcing globally to have our own private label and proprietary products.  That means customers can take advantage of our manufacturer-direct low prices.
In Our Vision
Hardwood Center is the end result of 16 years of research and development.  Currently, our store has a 30,000 sq ft retail space housing over 500 different products.  However, we are gradually progressing towards creating a big-box store with 100,000 sq ft that will house over 5,000 products in Atlanta, Birmingham, or Nashville.
